Description

This report is based on the Santa Fe Public Spaces Tree Inventory data collected 2016-2019.  It is generated using I-Tree Eco software, developed by the United States Forest Service, Northern Research Center under the direction of David Nowak.  Collection was performed using TreePlotter software from PlanIt Geo.  This project is a collaborative effort between the Municipal Tree Board and the Santa Fe Extension Master Gardeners, under co-leadership of Athena Beshur and Becky Touchett.

The 1,791 trees collected for this report represent 16% of the Santa Fe parks on 148.58 acres,  and represent trees in the following parks:

Franklin Miles, Amelia White, Frenchy’s Field, Harvey Cornell Rose Park, Santa Fe City Hall, Santa Fe Plaza, Cathedral Park, Tommy Maccione, Ragle Park, Las Acequias Park, Water History Museum Park, Candelario, Ashbaugh Park, Frank Ortiz Park, Torreon, and Bicentennial/ Alto Park.
