A carefully researched, thoughtfully designed desert landscape beautifully accentuates stunning architecture and views, builds soil, grows plants, preserves habitat, and offers shade.

This project is located in the PiƱon-Juniper Step Plateau EcoZone climate in the High Mountain Semi-Desert Grasslands. Goals included water retention, soil retention, invasive species removal, fire risk mitigation, retention of wildlife habitat, and enhancement and diversification of vegetation. The design included several different urban forestry elements, hardscape details, and plant and tree species selection, all of which worked together to realize the vision of a beautiful, tranquil landscape.
