A carefully crafted collection of gardens and architectural elements, the projects at this residence pull inspiration from both Japanese designs and the surrounding New Mexico landscape.

Walking paths wind through gardens and lead to resting points with expansive views.  Earthworks help stormwater infiltrate into the soil to support the health of existing and planted trees, which in turn buffer the wind and provide habitat for wildlife.  Flagstone paths and rock work guide the visitor to a torii-style gate and teahouse pavilion, which serve as focal points amidst the native grasses and trees.
