This project supports trees and shrubs through filtering and guiding stormwater runoff from the adjacent streets. Curb cuts, sediment traps, a dry riverbed, and Seeds of Wisdom’s own lagunita design all work together to give the street trees the water they need to survive in Santa Fe’s dry climate.

Located at the intersection of East Alameda Street and Cathedral Place, this project shows how green stormwater infrastructure and urban forestry can support nature in urban spaces.

Location: Santa Fe, NM
Project Status: Completed in 2017
